Strange King

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Passion Week, when Jesus entered Jerusalem not with the power and grandeur people expected, but with humility and sorrow. While the crowds shouted “Hosanna,” hoping for political liberation, Jesus came to bring something deeper—salvation. He wept over the city, knowing many would miss the peace only He could provide. As we reflect on Luke 19:28–44, we are reminded that Jesus isn’t the King we expect—He’s the Savior we desperately need.
